  • Beauty / Massage
  • Body Spa Esthetics
Created in response to changing needs in the esthetics industry, whereby specialization is the trend, the Spa Nails Program offers a modernized hands-on approach to spa training. The goal of this program is to provide the most advanced curriculum available to students of nail technology while training in a realistic working spa environment. Students work with clients six weeks into the nineteen week program and continue this training daily until they graduate, giving them over two months of client work days.

    Hair Art Design Program
John Casablancas and AXIS Training Systems have teamed up to proudly offer BC's first of its kind Hair Art Design Program. In response to the changing needs in the hair industry, the January 2004 deregulation of the BC Licensing Program has opened the market for a new generation of hair training schools. Following the example of Britain and Quebec, BC has tossed the "archaic" curriculum (whereby students were required 1500 hours of schooling or two years of in-salon apprenticeship) to make way for a faster, modernized approach to salon training. The Hair Art Design Program is the only accredited program in BC approved for a 500-hour curriculum.

    Make-Up Artistry Program
The Make up Artistry Diploma Program has gained an industry-wide reputation for excellence, giving students an exceptional network of contacts and resources when they enter into the marketplace. During the eight-month full-time program students learn what it takes to gain a foothold in the booming business of make up. With classes limited to 14 students, individualized attention and encouragement foster each student's personal and professional growth potential

  • Arts - Design / Animation
  • Fashion Business & Creative Arts
Our Fashion Arts Diploma program is constantly evolving to meet the ever-changing industry of fashion. The Institute recognizes that clothing is more than meets the eye. It is wearable art, fantasy and necessity all at the same time. Fashion is also about business. JC Institute offers the most unique and versatile Fashion Arts program available which combines the elements of the business of fashion, fashion design and the freelance elements of fashion styling, image consulting and fashion show production. It is the perfect blending of commerce and creativity. Class size is limited to 20 students to foster individualized attention and encourage students to develop their own personal and professional growth and potential.
